Founded by Tenin ‘Ms. T’ Baba Ndanani, a parent and passionate enrichment educator, Fashion Works® was launched out of a desire to combine a love for crafting and fashion with a commitment to wholisitc child development.

What started as a small home-based initiative has grown into an impactful education brand that touches the lives of hundreds of children yearly, helping them foster their potential and unleash their inner designer.

Fashion Works is all about creating engaging and inspiring learning experiences. With over a decade of child development expertise and firsthand experience as an after-school site director, Tenin knew the struggles kids faced in building confidence and self-expression. So she crafted a robust curriculum with help from classroom educators and industry experts to alleviate that pressure, nurturing kids' God-given gifts and sparking new talents.

Tenin's journey from the stage to the classroom started when she felt the pull to be more present for her young family. Wanting to make a community impact and boost household income, she prayed for inspiration and embraced her passion for fashion design with a unique "edu-tainment" twist. That's how Fashion Works was born.

Our mission is clear: enrich children's lives and empower entrepreneurs to run their own successful Fashion Works businesses. We're proud to support children's enrichment providers nationwide, helping them inspire young minds and support their families.

At Fashion Works, we believe that kids learn best by doing. Our classes are: crafted to expand their understanding of core concepts in S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, art and math), built around our proprietary hands-on lesson plans, developed by classroom teachers and taught by trained instructors.

Our programs provide an encouraging learning environment where initiative is invited and self-expression is celebrated! Fashion Works project kits and theme-based activities provide students with the opportunity to solve problems and develop their ideas, while having fun and socializing in a non-competitive atmosphere.

Now, Fashion Works leads the enrichment industry in sewing and fashion-based creative classes and camp for kids in grades K-8! We offer hands-on after school enrichment, summer camps and custom events for all ages!
